The Albuquerque AKDS Club's instructor is 2nd Dan Jared Greenwald who serves as a member of the AKDS Presidency. The club was started in January 2014. Come join us for a free practice session to experience what Shotokai exercises and principles can really do!

Jared Greenwald, 2nd Dan Black Belt

Jared is the Vice-President of American KDS. He has lived in all over the East Coast, Utah, Texas and New Mexico. He has a bachelor's degree in Math and Physics from Brigham Young University, and a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Baylor University. Jared began practicing with AKDS at the BYU club in 2005 and was awarded the rank of 1st Dan in March of 2009. He is the instructor for the community club in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jared was awarded his 2nd Dan in October of 2014 and holds the distinction of being the first ever to receive that rank from the American KDS.
