San Diego AKDS

San Diego (Carlsbad) karate-do shotokai love practicing on the beach. From kata to kumite - sun-rise or sunset on the beach is awesome. However, we're currently practicing through zoom due to covid. We look forward to getting back to in-person training soon and resume enjoying the beach lifestyle! For current activities please check-out our facebook page and for practice times look at our meetup.

Instructors.

Debbie (2nd Dan) and Simon (4th Dan) have been practicing and teaching karate for over 30 years. Both started training under Mr. Harada in the United Kingdom KDS through the Edinburgh, South Queensferry and Durham clubs. When possible, they love attending courses nationally and around the world to meet up with new and old friends.
