The Copperas Cove Texas Karate-do Shotokai Club in Copperas Cove, Texas, began in 2021. Practices are once a week for about an hour, and are taught by 1st degree black belt Martin Pardue. Don't have any experience? Don't worry, in Shotokai all club members of all levels practice together to learn and grow from one another. Don't have a uniform? No problem! Just wear a t-shirt and sweats and come join us!

Martin is the Texas liaison for American KDS. He was born in Louisiana and has lived in Germany, Utah, Japan, Louisiana and Texas.
He holds a master's degree in Special Education specializing in Teaching Blind Students from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana and a National Orientation & Mobility Certification from the National Blindness Professional Certification Board. He currently works as an Orientation & Mobility Specialist.
Martin has practiced Karate-Do Shotokai since 2013 and was awarded his 1st Dan in Orem, Utah in 2021.
